Payroll Manager - Certified Payroll & HR Support ? Pittsburgh, PA | ? $100,000-$120,000 Bonus Are you a payroll expert with a strong understanding of certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance in the construction industry? Our client-a reputable and growing construction company based in Pittsburgh-is seeking a Payroll Manager to take the lead on all payroll functions, while also supporting key HR operations. What You'll Be Doing As The Payroll Manager: Manage all aspects of weekly payroll processing, including certified payroll and union reporting, ensuring full compliance with prevailing wage laws. The Payroll Manager will act as the point of contact for audits related to payroll, labor, and compliance. Collaborate with HR to support onboarding, benefits administration, and workforce compliance. The Payroll Manager will maintain payroll records, wage determinations, and reporting in accordance with federal, state, and union requirements. Partner with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate time tracking and labor cost reporting. What We're Looking For In A Payroll Manager: 5 years of experience in payroll, with a strong background in certified payroll and prevailing wage. Prior exposure to the construction industry and union labor agreements is a strong plus. Detail-oriented with excellent compliance, documentation, and audit readiness skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across departments. Comfortable working fully onsite in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
