Job Description /n $30,000 Sign-On Bonus now offered to eligible hires! /n Sign-On Bonus Details: $15,000 for a 2-year work commitment or $30,000 for a three-year work commitment. /n UPMC Presbyterian is hiring full-time Interventional Radiology Tech to join our team! /n This role follows a daylight shift schedule (Monday-Friday) with rotating evenings, weekends, holidays, and holiday call coverage. A 30-minute response time is required for all call shifts unless otherwise noted by the IR Attending. /n As a Level I Trauma Center, UPMC Presbyterian is equipped to handle the most critical, life-threatening injuries and is home to the area’s only Trauma in Pregnancy Center. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you! /n Apply today and take the next step in your career with UPMC Presbyterian. /n /n /n Responsibilities: /n /n - Administers contrast in accordance with assigned protocols under the direction of the proceduralist. /n - Demonstrate proper positioning and appropriate radiographic techniques for all interventional procedures. /n - Reviews patient history and assesses physician orders, applying specific departmental protocols for optimal results in the acquisition of data. /n - Documents patient history in electronic record as required. /n - Ensures all exams within his/her area of responsibility are properly coded and tracked through RIS system, all exams are properly networked to ISITE for archiving and interpretation and all charges are adequately entered for the exams performed. /n - Able to work as a team member within the department and all other departments to expedite patient care efficiently. /n - Support other departments performing general radiographic procedures, if needed. /n /n/t - Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology. /n /n/n Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: /n/n /n/t - ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist is required. /n/t - Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required. /n/t - CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. /n/t - ARRT Certificate /n /n/n UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran /n
