Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Graduate
Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. Our
organization specializes in both facility-based and home-based
patient care, offering services through a network of inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice
agencies. This role provides an excellent opportunity for recent
nursing graduates to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and
patient-focused environment. The Graduate Nurse will work directly
with patients, providing critical healthcare services under the
supervision of experienced nurses and medical staff. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor patient health status and report any significant changes to
the supervising nurse or physician. Assist with daily patient care
tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Maintain accurate
patient records and document all care provided. Participate in
patient assessments and care planning. Collaborate with other
healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care. Educate
patients and their families on health maintenance and disease
prevention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability
to work effectively in a team. Detail-oriented with proficiency in
patient care and safety. Adaptability to various healthcare
settings. Basic knowledge of patient management software. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must have passed
the NCLEX-RN. Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice.
