Dennison is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Materials Group
North America team in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania. The successful
candidate will maximize operational effectiveness through the
development, implementation, and management of best-in-class
process engineering and automation strategies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow all Process Safety Management (PSM)
requirements, including leading Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs)
and Management of Change (MOCs) for processes and equipment.
Spearhead digitization and automation projects in a manufacturing
environment, including the integration and application of
artificial intelligence and machine learning for process
optimization, predictive maintenance, and quality control. Lead the
design, development, and implementation of advanced industrial
automation and control systems. Provide specialized technical
support and expertise on process and production issues related to
automation and control systems. Develop and maintain Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
(P&IDs) for automated processes. Lead and assist in the
automation design and implementation of new equipment and
technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing plant
infrastructure. Provide general troubleshooting, engineering,
maintenance, equipment, and daily process assistance to the
manufacturing line. Lead and assist in capital projects related to
automation equipment installations, modifications, or upgrades.
Support day-to-day operations and work with production teams to
identify, select, prioritize, and execute process improvement
projects with an automation focus. Additional
Qualifications/Responsibilities Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION,
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: BS Degree in Chemical
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required. 3
years engineering or related experience Working experience in plant
automation systems (Emerson DeltaV preferred) Working experience in
plant digitization initiatives Strong problem solving skills Strong
verbal and written communication skills. Strong PC skills including
Google Suite, MS Office, AutoCAD Ability to work at a
self-directed, efficient pace and possess a high level of energy
and initiative.
