Pleasant and Williamsburg. A Bachelor's degree is required with an emphasis on Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or similar preferred. We will consider experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of leadership experience in a production environment. Job Summary The administration, implementation, and enforcement of the PA Region EHS policies to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and to meet or exceed established goals. In addition, the individual will also manage and coordinate EHS policy compliance in our corporate EHS database for both locations. This position will be responsible for planning, implementing and supervising quality assurance standards in compliance with company standards, and contract requirements. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions) These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation. EHS General * Conducts EHS audit inspections to determine that processes are being followed and appropriate tools are in place. * Conducts and assists with planning and design of EHS-related training programs and classes with internal employees. * Utilizes internal quality assurance systems and tools to prepare reports for various levels of the organizations. * Conducts warranty-related investigations in support of operations and makes recommendations for corrective action. * Ensures field observations and reporting is properly documented through internal Company systems and tools and monitors for resolution. * Participates in staff, team or safety committee meetings, fostering quality efforts, reporting on quality trends or issues and creating communication plans to mitigate the issues. * Serves as onsite EHS representative on single project or multiple projects as needed. * Develops robust relationships with internal and external clients, including owners, business partners, manufacturer's reps and third party consultants. * Conducts routine, consistent communication/updates. * Provides mentorship and guidance to other team members. * Reviews daily production logs and sends quality samples to customers. * Compiles forms, checklists, etc. for production floor. * Investigates adjustment requests and maintains appropriate records Safety * Provide leadership with continuous support for plant, OSHA and Cenveo Corporate EH & S compliance and sustainability efforts by supporting programs and initiatives. * Owns / facilitates an active role in leadership of the plant's Safety Committee Team with an emphasis on safety and health sustainability. Effectively communicate, deliver, and implement plant, OSHA and Cenveo Corporate EH & S rules and regulations. * Administer and support plant safety system management which includes, LOTO, Behavior Base Safety Observations, New Employee Orientation, Safety Project Reviews, MSDS Management, Annual OSHA Injury & Illness Record Keeping,and other key safety and health initiatives to minimize plant personnel risk while maintaining plant production efficiency. * Ensure OSHA/Corporate and Plant Specific EH & S procedures are implemented, audited, and sustained to ensure compliance by all employees, vendors and contractors. * Evaluate project plans and provide direction and recommendations to plant leadership and project teams with respect to safety requirements and recommended best practices (Pre-Startup Safety Reviews, Voice of Customer, etc) * Support HR to reduce worker compensation costs and minimize the occurrence of recordable injuries through effective injury case management. * Maintain annual safety budget and support capital projects to ensure minimum impact on plant personnel health and safety. * Track metrics related to plant safety, communicate results to associates and management, and lead improvements and corrective actions related to results. * Develop, promote, and maintain EH & S procedures, policies,programs and processes designed to identify hazards and assess risks. * Manage all environmental aspects of plant requirements to ensure compliance. * Conduct safety audits on personnel, equipment and materials.
