VeloSource has a locum tenens Inpatient Psychiatry opportunity located in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
- Inpatient behavioral health unit rounding, consults in the acute care hospital for medical patients, and consults in the emergency department for behavioral health patients.- Active PA License, DEA Required, Board Certified- Minimum Years Experience - 1- M-F - 8a-430p - -- Weeknight Call - 430p - 8a -- 24hr Weekend Call - Friday 430p - Mon 8a -- Typical Day: Responsible to round on 1/2 of the inpatient behavioral health unit patients and provide 2 - 3 inpatient consults on medical patients. Call approximately 2 weeknights and may be scheduled to work on Sat and Sun to round in the inpatient unit, and provide 24-hour weekend coverage.- Typical Cases Seen: behavioral health patients- Patient Mix: 95% Adult - 5% Peds -- EMR: Cerner
