Urology opening in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Urology opening in Central PA Located in Altoona, PA Full-time; Permanent - Single Specialty Group - Salary: $500,000 - $525,000 Base Salary (based upon experience) plus wRVU based bonus system - Sign-On Bonus: $50,000 - CME Stipend: $3,500 annual stipend - CME 5 days a year - Practice and Hospital Call Schedule: 1:3 (Current) The group is seeking a urologist to join its newly established Urology Department. The Department will be comprised of 2 3 urologists, one of which has commenced practicing. A competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package are being offered, as well as generous vacation and CME time. The group is comprised 50 physicians in 12 clinical departments including: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Pulmonology, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Hematology-Oncology, Plastic Surgery, Neurology, and Urology. The recently created Urology Department will serve a growing patient base in the community. The Altoona/Blair County/Central Pennsylvania region is a family-oriented community with excellent school systems, abundant cultural amenities, easy access to larger, neighboring cities, and unlimited outdoor and recreational opportunities.
