A hospital in Altoona, PA is now accepting applications for a board-certified or board-eligible Noninvasive Cardiologist to join a growing team of physicians in a financially strong and thriving world-class health system. Their team also includes vascular and cardio-thoracic surgeons. The cath labs, located in the hospital, served over 3,000 patients in 2019. TAVR and Watchman procedures were added in 2019; the team performed their 1000th Watchman in August 2022. This is primarily an outpatient practice in a spacious medical mall located 1-1/2 miles from the hospital. The clinic has a solid patient base that served over 1500 patients in 2019. Altoona is a thriving community with excellent schools and a low cost of living. You will enjoy lots of referrals from the physicians associated with the hospital to earn extra wRVU income above a guaranteed salary.
