Regional/tertiary healthcare provider in central Pennsylvania is seeking an Inpatient Psychiatrist to join its Behavioral Health Team to provide care and treatment to patients in a 34-bed inpatient, general, adult, behavioral health unit, and to provide consults to inpatients in the adjacent 400-bed, acute care, tertiary hospital.Our Health System offers exceptional career growth opportunities and stability as part of a financially strong and thriving world-class health system. The 400-bed regional health care system provides care to nearly 350,000 residents in central Pennsylvania. The hospital is a level II trauma center, regional oncology center, and a Joint Commission certified stroke center. The hospital provides comprehensive cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, vascular and endovascular surgery, behavioral health, vascular and wound care. The Health System s medical staff is comprised of approximately 400 primary care physicians and specialists.A multi-specialty physician group that employs over 100 physicians and 65 advance practice providers (APPs) in cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, ENT, family practice, internal medicine, medical oncology, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, pulmonology, radiology and urology.The area provides an opportunity to celebrate the change of seasons, appreciate an outdoor lifestyle, and enjoy a balance between work and play.
