• And much more---Position Summary:The Special Duty RN provides direct day-to-day care to patients and families of Conemaugh Miners Medical Center. The Special Duty RN practices to the fullest extent of his/her license in accordance with organizational policies. The Special Duty RN is under the direction of the Nurse Manager and in collaboration with the Physician. -He/she functions as a member of the Patient Care Team to implement the patients' plan of care. -The Special Duty RN provides care specific to age and developmental needs of neonates to adult and geriatric patients.   Minimum Qualifications: -High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of -a nursing programCurrent PA RN license, CPR certification, ACLS and PALS certification within six (6) month of hire, completion of an approved Basic Dysrhythmia Course within six (6) months of hire and completion of a Critical Care Course or Basic Coronary Care Course within one (1) year of hire.
