Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel ARMStaffing is looking for Cath Lab Tech - Cath Lab Tech in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Shift: 4x10 Days - Unit Details: 51311001|Cardiac Cath Lab Job Description: As a Cath Lab Tech, you’ll assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and pacemaker insertions. You’ll play a critical role in supporting physicians, managing imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout complex procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures - Prepare patients and equipment for procedures - Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vitals during procedures - Scrub in and support physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases - Maintain sterile fields and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols - Accurately document procedures and patient information Requirements: - ARRT or RCIS certification required - Active state license or eligibility where applicable - BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience - Proficiency in fluoroscopy, EKG, and sterile technique - Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced procedural environments At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
