Job Description UPMC Somerset is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Emergency Department in Somerset, PA! RNs work rotating shifts to provide coverage during the 24/7 operational hours of the Emergency Department. /n Experienced Nurses (1 years of experience) are eligible for a $15,000 Sign-on Bonus! Graduate nurses must take the State Board Nursing Examination within 60 days of hire /n - BSN preferred /n /n Licenses and Certifications: /n /n - Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire or within 6mo /n - Registered Nurse (RN)* /n - ACLS & PALS required (upon hire or within 6mo) /n - Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmia Interpretation Course (upon hire or within 1yr). /n - NIHSS upon hire. /n - Act 33 with renewal /n - Act 34 /n - Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal /n /n *Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
