involves serving as an Anesthesiologist at our medical center in
Pittsburgh, where you will deliver perioperative anesthesia care
across a range of surgical disciplines while also engaging in
educational activities. Responsibilities encompass preoperative
assessments, administering anesthesia during surgeries, providing
post-anesthesia care, contributing to quality improvement
initiatives, and the option to participate in clinical research.

insurance benefits. Anesthesiologist Position – Full-Time at Our
Pittsburgh Medical Center Eligible for up to $200,000 in student
loan repayment Position Overview: Our facility in Pittsburgh is in
search of a skilled Anesthesiologist to manage a diverse array of
cases, including general, neurosurgical, orthopedic, plastic,
thoracic, and vascular surgeries, along with out-of-OR anesthesia
for gastrointestinal and electrophysiological procedures.

medical research. Key Responsibilities: Conduct initial evaluations
and comprehensive assessments, including focused histories and
physical examinations of medical and surgical patients, as part of
a multidisciplinary preoperative clinic. Provide perioperative
anesthetic care, which includes preoperative evaluations,
intraoperative anesthesia administration and monitoring, and
post-anesthesia care, collaborating within an anesthesia team that
includes CRNAs and/or anesthesia residents. Evening and weekend
on-call duties for urgent cases are essential components of this
role. Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of anesthesia techniques
and procedures, including regional and spinal anesthesia. Deliver
clinical anesthetic care for cardiothoracic and liver transplant
surgeries; board certification in Perioperative Transesophageal
Echocardiography is highly desirable. Instruct anesthesia
residents, medical students, and student nurse anesthetists, in
collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh. Engage in quality
and performance improvement projects, committees, and other
relevant activities, including VASQIP. Participate in clinical
research if interested. Work collaboratively with patients and
colleagues, demonstrating respect and dignity towards healthcare
professionals and patients' families. Essential Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited medical
or osteopathic institution recognized by the Department of Veterans
Affairs. Possession of a current, unrestricted medical or surgical
license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth, including
the District of Columbia. Completion of residency training in an
accredited core specialty program approved by the Secretary of
Veterans Affairs, leading to eligibility for board certification.
Fluency in both spoken and written English. Preferred
Qualifications: Board certification or eligibility. Benefits
Overview: Salary range: $375,000 - $400,000. Recruitment incentives
