Assistant (PTA) Overview: The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
is responsible for delivering clinical physical therapy services to
senior participants, adhering to care plans established by a
Registered Physical Therapist. This position includes tracking
treatment progress, collaborating with healthcare teams, and
facilitating patient rehabilitation within a PACE program
environment. Applicants must hold a valid license, possess
experience with elderly or frail individuals, and demonstrate the
ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams. $5,000

before payday. Ministry Program The Physical Therapy Assistant
delivers clinical physical therapy services to participants at
various levels, including acute, restorative, and maintenance care,
following the treatment plans outlined by the Registered Physical
Therapist. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduated from a physical therapist
assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy
Association. Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant
in Colorado. At least one year of experience working with frail or
elderly individuals is required. Preferred: One year of experience
as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing facility.
Strong understanding of the physical, psychosocial, and behavioral
needs of the elderly. Ability to comprehend medical terminology
relevant to physical therapy and communicate effectively with
participants, staff, interdisciplinary teams, and physicians.
Skilled in motivating participants to engage in their
rehabilitation process. Must possess a valid driver’s license,
proof of insurance, and reliable transportation. ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS: Administer physical therapy treatments and related tasks
as delegated by the physical therapist. Regularly update the
Registered Physical Therapist on participant changes and progress
according to the treatment plan. Ensure accurate documentation in
compliance with state and federal PACE regulations. Maintain
records in accordance with PACE policies and procedures. Conduct
and document ongoing non-evaluative data as specified in the
treatment program, including vital signs, range of motion, strength
measurements, assistive device usage, and distances covered.
Address the psychosocial support needs of participants and their
families. Communicate effectively with all staff and document
interactions according to professional standards. Keep timely
records, meet regularly with the Registered Physical Therapist, and
attend care conferences as needed. Engage in patient care
conferences and other rehabilitation-related meetings as
appropriate. Collaborate with the Registered Physical Therapist and
interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress,
challenges, and future plans. Participate in in-service training
for all facility staff. Educate participants, family members, and
nursing staff on restorative and therapeutic maintenance programs.
Comply with PACE regulations as established by federal and state
agencies and organizational policies. Attend required in-service
training and complete assigned online modules. Perform additional
duties as assigned. Our organization operates a PACE Program
