Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required License:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania
Certifications: Meets the American Heart Association's standards
for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS
every two years Must-Have: Preference will be given to those with
EPIC patient charting experience. Demonstrates effective
functioning as a team member and acts as a liaison between patients
and staff. Supports and encourages harmonious communication skills.
Job requires strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication
skills. Communicates in a highly professional manner at all times.
Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance when
dealing with patients. Uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment, and
a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and
co-workers. Description: Responsible to the Unit Director/Manager
for the overall nursing practice during the assigned shift. In the
absence of the Unit Director/Manager, responsible to the Clinical
Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Clinical Coordinator of the shift.
Provides professional nursing care based on current nursing
knowledge through the use of the nursing process. Includes
responsibility for assessment of patient needs, development of the
plan of care, implementation of nursing measures, and evaluation of
the effectiveness of nursing care and other treatment measures. 5
