Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: State College, PA Agency: Adelphi Medical Staffing Pay: $54 per hour Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Summary: Ref : M-RN-293008 Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PeriOp - Outpatient Job Type: Contract/Travel Start Date: ASAP Location: State College, PA Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 6:15a-2:45p Shift Type: Days Rate: $2,144/40-hours Requirements: Active RN license Current BLS; ACLS preferred. Perioperative or outpatient surgical experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, patient education, and communication skills. Responsibilities: Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care in an outpatient setting. Assess, monitor, and document patient status before, during, and after procedures. Assist surgeons and procedural teams during operative cases. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Educate patients and families on procedure preparation, recovery, and post-op care. Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
