The state-of-the-art facility will have an eight-bed adolescent unit, 24 bed adult unit and 12 bed geropsychiatry unit.Child and adolescent services include Board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist who is also boarded in pediatrics. There is also a CA nurse practitioner. The Department is involved in teaching family practice residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and social work interns. A psychiatric residency program will be initiated and an ECT program will be added once the hospital is built.
