Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Johnstown, PA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Team as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician – Make a Difference in Women's Health Are you a dedicated OB/GYN looking to provide exceptional care in a dynamic, supportive environment? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join our team for specific scheduled shifts. Key Responsibilities: Provide 24-hour call coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., including up to 4 hours of rounding daily. Support patients involved in labor with prior cesareans or those requiring maternal transport. Manage OB/GYN procedures including cesarean sections, operative vaginal deliveries, tubal ligations, and circumcisions. Collaborate with full office and hospital staff, including midwives and maternal-fetal medicine specialists. Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and communication. Ensure quality care during both inpatient and outpatient visits, adhering to hospital protocols. Required Skills: Current and unrestricted Medical License with OB/GYN certification. Prior experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including surgical procedures such as cesarean deliveries. Ability to handle emergency situations and provide timely, effective consultation. Strong communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably EPIC. Nice to Have Skills: Experience working with high-risk pregnancies and complex cases. Certification in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO). Previous experience in a hospital-based call environment. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Proven competence in performing gynecological surgeries and emergency procedures. Other Requirements: Availability to work scheduled shifts on specific dates: December 24-29, January 20 and 22, March 17, and April 22. Ability to manage call responsibilities independently, with support staff available. Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment with shared responsibilities. Must meet all licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements.
