Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/28/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics Skillset: RRT – Pediatrics Facility: Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Unit: Respiratory Therapy Location: Hershey, PA Contract Details: - Start Date: 02/28/2026 - End Date: 05/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - Interview: Virtual - Expected Weekly Hours: 36 Shift & Schedule: - Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) - Break: 30 minutes unpaid - Weekends: Every 3rd weekend - On-Call: No Job Responsibilities: - Provide pediatric respiratory care in a children’s hospital setting - Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators - Deliver routine and advanced respiratory therapies - Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric ICU and intermediate care teams - Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to respiratory protocols Required Skills & Qualifications: - Credential: RRT (required – CRT not accepted) - License: Active Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapy license - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (PALS & BLS required for Children’s Hospital) - Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required - Preferred Experience: Pediatric ICU or Intermediate Care - Facility Experience: Must have experience in a large facility and trauma environment - Core Skills: Mechanical ventilation management and basic respiratory care Additional Details: - Dress Code: Pewter Grey scrubs - Service Line: Long Term – Allied - Modality: RRT only K16 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
