Schedule Days: 0645-1915; 3-12s per week, every other weekend Job Description MUST BE EXPERIENCE IN EPIC AND BE ABLE AND WILLING TO SUPPORT CURRENT STAFF IN OUR TRANSITION FROM MEDITECH TO EPIC (5/30 GO LIVE). The Registered Nurse will be responsible for overall nursing practice in the Women's and Children's Services, including assessment and care for childbearing women, neonates, and families, while developing and implementing care plans based on their needs. Responsibilities - Assist women and infants to attain and maintain optimum health through comprehensive assessment and planning of care. - Support women and families in achieving personal growth and family functioning. - Identify and intervene with vulnerable patients and families-at-risk to prevent potential developmental and health problems. - Promote a safe environment conducive to wellness and recovery. - Facilitate understanding and coping with women's health issues and childbirth. - Maintain knowledge and competency in nursing practices for women and infants. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Completion of an accredited registered nurse program required. - Current Pennsylvania RN licensure. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (renewed every 2 years). - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (renewed every 2 years). - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (renewed every 2 years).
