shifts, 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM); some shifts noted as
6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; schedule includes every other weekend (night
shift coverage) Hours per Week: 36 Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Perform thorough nursing assessments and collect pertinent patient
data to drive individualized care plans Develop, implement and
evaluate measurable patient care plans using the nursing process
Document patient status and interventions clearly and promptly in
the patient chart (EPIC experience preferred) Provide patient and
family education to support recovery, discharge planning and
ongoing health needs Prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately to
maintain safe, high-quality patient care Participate in quality
improvement activities and use data to recommend practice
enhancements Advocate for patients and ensure ethical,
confidential, and dignified care at all times Assist with
out-of-facility patient transport and coordinate continuity of care
during transfers Demonstrate leadership during your shift,
collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and supporting peers
Maintain clinical competency through ongoing education and required
certifications Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Med/Tele clinical experience (Med/Surg/Telemetry competencies)
Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (HCP BLS) certification —
must be maintained (HCP BLS to be completed within four months of
probation per policy) Experience with patient documentation; EPIC
charting experience preferred Comfortable working night shifts and
providing occasional weekend coverage Strong assessment, critical
thinking and delegation skills Knowledge & Skills Nursing
assessment and care planning Patient documentation and electronic
charting (EPIC preferred) Patient education and advocacy Delegation
and leadership on shift Clinical competency and evidence-based
practice Quality improvement and participation in performance
initiatives Ethical practice and confidentiality Patient transport
