Locum Tenens Opportunity: Pathology Physician Near Tipton, PA We are currently seeking a qualified Pathology Physician for locum tenens coverage near Tipton, PA. Position Details: Specialty: Pathology - Anatomic and Clinical Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Provider Type: Physician Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only EMR System: Epic Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient Job Details: Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Call Requirements: None Caseload: 25-35 surgical cases per day Optional additional 10 cytologies Optional 3 to 10 bone marrow and flow cytometry cases per day Not responsible for blood bank or grossing own specimens No cutting frozen sections on the cryostat Patient Interaction: No involvement with residents in surgical cases Staff Support: Physicians: 2 physicians on-site alongside locums Histotechnologists: 8 Pathology Assistants: 1 Cytotechnologists: 2 Certifications Required: Board Certification: Required; fellowship preferred State License: Pennsylvania Laboratory Certifications: CLIA, CAP, PA State, FDA, AABB This position is located near Tipton, PA, and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment with comprehensive laboratory support and advanced EMR technology.
