with Cynet Health to find a qualified OB/GYN RN in Uniontown,
Pennsylvania, 15401! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN

Must-Have: Labor, postpartum, and newborn nursing care experience
Description: This position requires working within a 50-mile
radius. Candidates must disclose any hits on their professional
license at the time of submission. The unit consists of 4 Triage
beds, 5 Labor/Delivery rooms, 11 Postpartum beds, and a Newborn
Nursery with an additional 3-bed Continuing Care Nursery. Staffing
ratios are 1:1 for labor and 3:1 for postpartum couplets. Required
skills include labor, postpartum, and newborn nursing care.
Registered nurses are required to titrate specific drips, including
Pitocin. Charge nurses and house supervisors are in-house 24/7.
Charge nurses do take patient assignments. Nurse aides and scrub
techs are available on the unit 24/7. CPAP is available for infants
in the Continuing Care Nursery. Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
coverage is provided. There is no telemetry on this unit, and RNs
must read strips for C-section recovery. Self-scheduling is
permitted, and weekend work is required every other week. There are
no call or standby requirements currently. The dress code is
hospital-issued scrubs. The charting system utilized is EPIC. A BSN
is not required for this position. This role is in an acute care
setting. The necessary certifications include ACLS (AHA), AWHONN
Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), BLS (AHA), and NRP (Neonatal
