Job Description Psychiatrist Psychiatrist needed in Rochester, PA. Salary and Benefits - The pay range for this position is based on experience ($240,000/yr) - Health Insurance – Employer covers 80% (Employee: $41.04 - $164.38/month) - Dental and Vision Insurance – Employee: $4.37 $1.01 = $5.38/month - 403(b) Retirement Package – with 5% match - 20 Days (160 Hours) of Paid Time Off (PTO) - 8 Paid Holidays - Continuing Medical Education (CME) – 5 Days Approved with $1,500 allowance annually - Life Insurance Covered – up to $100,000 - Eligible for Student Loan Repayment – up to $75,000 - Tuition Reimbursement – up to $2,500 annually - Malpractice insurance covered - License renewal & DEA & Society Dues covered by employer - Long-Term Disability/Short-Term Disability - Employee Assistant Program (EAP) - Full support staff Responsibilities - Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm) - Seeing about 18 patients per day - Provide evidence-based, culturally sensitive care in outpatient settings for adults and children - Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medication. - Offer cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and other therapeutic modalities, as appropriate for patient needs. - Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor treatment progress. - Facilitate referrals for patients requiring additional support services, including substance abuse treatment, housing assistance, and social services. - Keep up to date with new treatments, best practices, and evidence-based interventions to improve patient care - EMR System is Athena - 5 hours of administrative time - Working in an outpatient facility with the opportunity to work hybrid Requirements - Clear and Active License and DEA in the State of Pennsylvania - MD/DO - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry - New graduates welcome!
