Monitor techs? RNs read strips?RN's need to interpret & chart the patient rhythm with their assessment Q4hr, or more often with titration of medications. Each unit has a centralized monitor for RN's to view at the nurses station, as well as monitors in the patient rooms. Centralized Telemetry interprets & places the EKG strips into the patient charts.
