Urgent Need for Two Dedicated Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) Bellefonte, PA & Surrounding Areas $15?$20/hr | 40 Hours/Week | Monday?Friday, 8 AM?5 PM Float Position ? We are urgently hiring two full-time Direct Support Professionals ? one male and one female ? to provide essential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Bellefonte and the surrounding Centre County area . These roles are ideal for experienced caregivers who want stable hours , meaningful work, and the opportunity to make a real impact every single day. You may work with individuals who require: Personal care assistance Behavior-support strategies Lifting and transfer support Community engagement Daily living skills Emotional reassurance and steady guidance Your presence brings stability, dignity, and support to people who rely on you to navigate their daily lives. What You?ll Be Doing You will travel between homes and community settings within Bellefonte and nearby areas, providing essential support such as: Full or partial assistance with ADLs (hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding) Lifting, transfers, and mobility support (varies by individual) Implementing behavior-support strategies Supporting community outings and appointments Encouraging independence and skill-building Offering companionship, structure, and emotional support Maintaining accurate documentation and communication This role requires someone who is confident, reliable, and ready to be a positive force in the Centre County community. Who We Need We?re looking for DSPs who are: Experienced in caregiving, DSP work, HHA, CNA, or related fields Adaptable , able to support multiple individuals with different needs Comfortable with lifting and physical support Compassionate , patient, and grounded Reliable , with strong communication and time-management skills Committed to providing high-quality care Willing to travel between locations throughout the day Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week Monday?Friday, 8:00 AM ? 5:00 PM Must be willing to float between multiple homes and service locations Pay Rate $15.00 ? $20.00 per hour Requirements Valid driver?s license Active car insurance Up-to-date vehicle inspection and registration Ability to travel between locations Openness to supporting individuals with varying personal care, behavioral, and lifting needs Prior caregiving/DSP experience strongly preferred Benefits Weekly pay Paid onboarding Competitive wages Flexible scheduling within the 8?5 window Medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) (based on hours worked) Signing Bonus Earn up to $1,000 in bonuses: $333 after 90 days (minimum 20 hrs/week) $333 after 6 months (minimum 20 hrs/week) $334 after 1 year (minimum 20 hrs/week) Bonus not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires.
