This role offers a procedure-focused schedule with built-in call , providing strong daily productivity and consistent income potential. What to expect: 24-hour call coverage with structured workflow 10-hour procedural days (7a–5p, Monday–Friday) 4–6 procedures daily plus inpatient procedures Inpatient consults and rounding No ERCP or EUS required Compensation: $3,200 per 24-hour call $420/hour callback Top 10–15% of Gastroenterology locums pay This is an ideal opportunity for physicians seeking high earnings, consistent procedural volume, and predictable scheduling.
