Responsibilities Carry out periodontal treatments in a way that prioritizes
patient well-being and complies with all applicable state dental
board regulations Inform patients about methods to prevent, identify, and manage
periodontal disease while supporting their overall oral wellness.
Explain the connection between gum health and general systemic
health Record periodontal conditions to support collaboration with the
Dentist in creating suitable treatment plans Work as part of a team to coordinate scheduling, deliver an
outstanding patient experience, and help maintain the cleanliness
and functionality of the practice and equipment
