Job Description:

Deliverables/Principal Results Expected: Process, track and complete third-party invoices. Print, validate and mail customer refund checks. Process delinquent invoices. Maintain daily logs of all transactions. Contact customers regarding payment inquiries. Perform data entry onto companys software. Other duties as assigned. Technical Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with branch departments. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the principles, procedures and best practices related to this position. Proficient level of software proficiency in using PC software to support activities, especially Microsoft Office. The ability to work with confidential material and maintain confidentiality is required along with sensitivity to employees and customers needs and data. Strong attention to detail. Proficient analytical skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret information appropriate to duties and responsibilities assigned. Ability to operate information systems, follow policy, complete required forms, and prepare reports. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients, and payors. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Prior experience with ICD9 coding/CTP and HCPCS coding, 1500 & UB04 billing forms, billing Blue Cross Products and out of state insurances preferred. Job-related Behavioral Characteristics: Exceptional customer service, strong verbal and written skills, basic math and accounting software skils and good quality of research abilities needed.
