can help. We can show you how. PROGRAM SUMMARY: Work Ready and SNAP
EARN programs are administered by the state of Pennsylvania. They
operate at a local level, through Partner4Work, and provide
workforce development services to eligible participants who
experience significant barriers to obtaining and maintaining
meaningful employment. Participant eligibility focuses on
low-income individuals who are enrolled in TANF and SNAP programs.
Programs provide comprehensive job readiness, placement, training,
and case management services, Services also aim to mitigate social
barriers to employment. POSITION SUMMARY: The Work Ready and EARN
Program Coordinator will manage and oversee Work Ready and EARN
programming for residents of Allegheny County. The Coordinator will
work collaboratively with the employment service teams, local
employers, and workforce development agencies to develop an
innovative workforce development model, driven by the needs of
employers and available career pathways. This position requires the
ability to work independently, while implementing flexible
strategies to traditional career services. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Included but not limited to: Program Management and Leadership:
Supervise, support and lead staff involved with service area, to
ensure compliance with program requirements including reporting,
application of best practices and achievement of program goals.
Ensure the team’s adherence to organizational policies and
procedures. Participate in the development of program policies
regarding such issues as participant eligibility, program
requirements, program benefits, staff development, Act as a liaison
to funding sources, customers, employers and other community
organizations and stakeholders. Program Coordination and
Development: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources
and available activities as they relate to the needs of
participants. Lead the development and implementation of services
utilizing industry best practices including technologies used for
virtual service Quality Assurance: Ensure successful delivery of
services for participants including outreach, recruitment,
orientation, job placement, and retention. Monitor and report
program outcomes. Maintain up to date knowledge of Work Ready and
EARN standards and compliance regulations. Policies and Standards:
Maintain a current and up-to-date understanding of and comply with
all company policies and procedures and all guidelines for all
applicable regulatory entities such as Department of Public
Welfare, Department of Labor, etc. Adhere to human resources
policies and procedures related to the disciplinary processes and
timelines, FMLA, and confidentiality of employee information.
Provide access to needed, required, or related training and
development activities, and/or other practices related to
performance management. Status: Regular, Full-time, Exempt
Location: Northside Common Ministries - 1601 Brighton Rd,
Pittsburgh, PA 15212. External Hiring Range: $45,760 – $49,418.86
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM. Travel: Required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Years of Experience: High school
diploma or equivalent AND 6 years of experience required. OR
Associates degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work or
other related field AND 4 years of experience required. OR
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work or
other related field AND 2 year of experience required. Required:
Experience working in human services, social work, or a related
field. Preferred: Experience coordinating case management and
employment related services amongst a team. Experience managing,
administering, supporting, and evaluating human and/or community
service programming. REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND
CERTIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's
license, active insurance policy, and reliable transportation for
local travel. Candidates are expected to provide current, valid
clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and
PATCH) prior to their first day of employment.
