Job Description:
As a pivotal part of Clean Harbors field services team in
Monaca, the CDL Driver / Equipment Operator will be responsible for
operating a variety of heavy equipment with manual transmission,
specialized in handling hazardous materials. This role is crucial
for ensuring safe and efficient handling and transportation of
environmental waste to support our commitment to sustainability and
environment safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong
operational knowledge of heavy machinery and vehicles with manual
transmissions, adhering to all operational and safety regulations.
Operate heavy equipment and vehicles with manual transmission for
the transportation of hazardous materials. Ensure compliance with
all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Perform routine
inspection and maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure
operational safety. Record and maintain accurate logs according to
DOT and company regulations. Participate in safety meetings and
ongoing training sessions. Respond promptly to assignments and
adhere to routing instructions from dispatch. Collaborate with team
members to enhance the effectiveness of operations. Proficiency in
operating manual transmission vehicles Experience in handling and
transportation of hazardous materials Strong understanding of DOT
regulations and safety compliance Ability to perform physical tasks
and lift up to 50 lbs Effective communication and documentation
