Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated CDL Driver / Equipment
Operator who specializes in manual transmission and holds a
commitment to safety and environmental preservation. This role
based in Monaca involves handling and transporting hazardous
materials while ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety
requirements. A successful candidate will bring expertise in
operating a range of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment,
contributing significantly to Clean Harbors’ mission of leading the
market in environmental, energy, and industrial services across
North America. Operate heavy-duty trucks and equipment with manual
transmissions. Transport hazardous materials following all federal,
state, and local regulations. Perform pre- and post-trip
inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Maintain
logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status in
compliance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate with
dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
Participate in emergency response calls as needed, representing the
company’s commitment to swift and effective action. Proficient in
operating manual transmission vehicles. Strong knowledge of DOT
regulations and hazardous materials handling. Excellent
communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle physical
duties and work in various weather conditions. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials (HazMat)
and Tanker endorsements. Clean driving record. DOT Medical Card.
Safety and emergency response training are highly valued.
