As part of Ryder, you will be instrumental in upholding our standards and driving our success forward. Safely operate a tractor-trailer across assigned routes to deliver goods on time. Conduct inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, and report any problems or maintenance needs. Adhere to all safety requirements and operational procedures. Maintain accurate logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations to fulfill customer requirements. Handle documentation for cargo and ensure proper delivery and receipt confirmations. Proficiency in operating a commercial heavy vehicle. Strong time management and navigation skills. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class CDL A driver’s license. Current DOT medical card. No recent moving or driving violations.
