Job Description:
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a respected global nonprofit
organization dedicated to community partnership, relief, and
sustainable development, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing
Materials and Planning Manager to oversee our manufacturing and
production materials planning. The ideal candidate will bring
expertise in materials management and production planning to
effectively meet project deadlines and support MCC's mission. This
role demands a strategic approach to optimize resources, ensure
continuous supply chain operations, and integrate humanitarian
considerations into manufacturing processes. Develop and implement
comprehensive materials management strategies that align with MCC’s
project goals and humanitarian mission. Manage and optimize the
supply chain, ensuring timely availability of materials and
minimizing shortages. Collaborate with project managers and other
department heads to forecast demand and adjust production schedules
accordingly. Implement stringent inventory control measures to
maintain supply chain integrity and reduce wastage. Assist in
vendor selection, evaluation, and negotiation to achieve
cost-effective procurement while upholding MCC’s ethical standards.
Prepare regular reports on material and inventory levels,
production planning, and unforeseen delays, presenting these
findings to senior management. Strong experience in supply chain
management and inventory control. Proficient in production planning
software and ERP systems. Ability to analyze and interpret complex
data for strategic decision-making. Excellent negotiation skills
with suppliers and contractors. Strong leadership and collaboration
abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Certification in Production and Inventory Management
(CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is highly
desirable.
