Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Crate Builder to join their team. As a Crate Builder, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical problem-solving skills, the ability to work safely with hand tools, and a quick learning ability which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Crate Builder Location: Burgettstown, PA Pay Range: $17.50/hr What's the Job? Assemble crates and pack parts orders using hand tools such as drills, saws, punches, and pneumatic tools. Ensure that all products built meet the highest quality standards. Correctly pack crates once they are built. Cut and prepare wood for other areas as needed. Train other personnel if required. What's Needed? 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with manufacturing equipment and processes. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. General math skills are essential. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a safe manner and adapt to different jobs as needed. What's in it for me? Opportunity for full-time and part-time positions.
