The Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift at Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) oversees the evening manufacturing operations, focusing on optimizing production efficiency while upholding MCC’s commitment to quality and sustainability. This role is pivotal in implementing MCC’s mission by ensuring that all production processes are aligned with our global relief and development goals. The supervisor will manage staff, streamline operations, and contribute to humanitarian initiatives through efficient resource management. Manage and lead the 2nd shift production team to meet production targets. Ensure the implementation of production schedules without compromising quality and safety. Enhance operational efficiency by optimizing resource use and minimizing waste. Collaborate with other supervisors and the management team to align production processes with MCC’s strategic goals. Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate professional development and training for team members. Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Proficiency in production scheduling and workflow management. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues swiftly. Knowledge of safety and quality regulations in manufacturing.
