A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR
As an Activities Coordinator, you'll assist in the planning,
developing, organizing and implementing of the activity program
under the supervision of the Activity Director. You will also
assist in the creation of a weekly activity calendar for residents
of different functioning levels. You may also be asked to escort
residents with field trips whenever necessary.
As required, you keep accurate records for each resident you
work with and report any changes in a resident's condition to the
nursing department immediately. With patience and a calm demeanor,
you treat those you care for just the way you would want your own
family members treated.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR
* Previous experience in a geriatric role preferred * Dementia
Are you flexible and always willing to jump in and help where
you're needed? Are you conscientious about following policies and
procedures correctly? Do you have excellent interpersonal and
communication skills? Are you passionate about the rights of all to
