Job Title: Layout/Fitter – Structural Steel & Platework
(Experienced) Location: Mars, PA 16046 Hours: Monday to Friday |
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM About Us: We are a custom steel fabricator
specializing in unique, made-to-order structural components. No two
jobs are the same, offering a dynamic and challenging work
environment. Position Summary: We're looking for an experienced
Layout/Fitter skilled in structural steel and platework . This role
involves reading blueprints and erection drawings to fit and layout
heavy steel components such as platforms, tanks, and handrails. Key
Responsibilities: Interpret detail blueprints and erection
drawings. Layout and fit heavy structural steel components
accurately. Work with various tools (grinders, torches, drills) to
prepare assemblies. Collaborate with welders and project leads to
meet design specs. Maintain a safe and organized work area.
Qualifications: 3 years of experience in structural steel and
platework fitting. Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.
Experience with platforms, tanks, handrails, and custom
fabrication. Ability to work independently and handle physically
